NUTRIENTS

There are essential nutrients that our body requires and they are carbohydrates (carbs), fat, vitamins, proteins, minerals and water.

The three that I am going to talk to you about are Fats, Proteins and Carbohydrates which are essential for normal body function and energy.

FATS

These nutrients contain carbon, hydrogen, some oxygen, and sometimes other chemical elements.

Purpose: Source of energy, most concentrated, insulator to preserve body heat, supply essential fatty acids, carry fat-soluble vitamins A,D,E,K.

Classified into 3 main groups: SIMPLE=fatty acids are mono (1), di (2) and tri (3) and they are saturated and unsaturated fatty acids.

Saturated are foods high in meat, animal fat, lard, whole milk, cream, butter, cheese, ice cream, hydrogenated oils (plastic), coconut oil, palm oil, and others that do not melt at room temperature; these fats raise blood cholesterol levels.

Unsaturated are monounsaturated fatty acids that are double bond and are olive, corn, cottonseed, safflower, walnut, sunflower and soybean oils that liquefy at room temperature. These oils are also known for lowering blood cholesterol. "When unsaturated fats replace saturated fats in the diet, the former tend to stimulate the liver to clear cholesterol from the blood." (p.51, Hoeger)

Other Fatty Acids: Hydrogen added to increase shelf-life, solidify and increase of atoms changes the position transforming fat which = trans fatty acids in such foods as margarine, spreads, crackers, cookies, diary products, meats, fast foods and these fats elevate cholesterol.

Omega-3 also known as alpha-linoleic acid and is a polyunsaturated fatty acid good for heart health and food sources are flax seed (high in fiber), and legumes which helps to reduce heart rhythms and prevent blot clots. Lesser amounts found in walnuts, soybeans, wheat germ. Use not recommended for lactating or pregnant women.

Omega-6 is an unsaturated fatty acid and food sources are corn, sunflower, and most oils in processed foods. If used to excess it can amplify inflammatory processes that can damage organs in the body.

Learn to read labels before you purchase your product; just because the label states "partially hydrogenated" and "trans-fatty acids" they can still carry a health risk just as high as that of saturated fats!

WHAT SHALL ONE EAT?

"When God led the children of Israel out of Egypt, it was His purpose to establish them in the land of Canaan a pure, happy, healthy people.....It was His purpose to supply them with food better suited to their wants than the feverish diet to which many of them had been accustomed in Egypt. The perverted appetite was to be brought into a more healthy state, that they might enjoy the food originally provided for man, ---the fruits of the earth, which GOD gave to Adam and Eve in Eden.
Had they been willing to deny appetite in obedience to His restrictions, feebleness and disease would have been unknown among them.....
GOD let them have flesh, but it proved a curse to them." (White, Counsels on Diet & Foods, 1938, p. 378)

HOW DO VIRUSES WORK?

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK21523/

A virus is a small parasite that cannot reproduce by itself. Once it infects a susceptible cell, however, a can direct the cell machinery to produce more viruses. Most viruses have either or as their genetic material. The may be single- or double-stranded. The entire infectious virus particle, called a virion, consists of the nucleic acid and an outer shell of . The simplest viruses contain only enough RNA or DNA to encode four proteins. The most complex can encode 100 – 200 proteins.

So, how is this current COVID19 transmitted and how has it been able to stay alive and who is it infecting? Look at Dr. Gregor's comments on this corona virus at NutritionFacts.org and draw your own conclusions.

"Vegetables, fruits, and grains should compose our diet. Not an ounce of flesh meat should enter our stomachs. The eating of flesh is unnatural. We are to return to GOD's original purpose in the creation of man......Among those who are waiting for the coming of the LORD, meat eating will eventually be done away; flesh will cease to form a part of their diet." Breakfast Like a King, Lunch Like a Prince, Dinner Like a Pauper

Breakfast Like a King, Lunch Like a Prince, Dinner Like a Pauper

Yesterday Dr Gregor with NutritionFacts.org provide a fascinating information on the COVID 19 virus! I am sure youTube presentations will be available for other viewers to see. He is also coming out with another book called "HOW TO SURVIVE A PANDEMIC" look for it readers and those interesting in changing their lifestyles to live more healthier!

Also take note of the 8 *Laws of Health* that are taught at Weimar in California!
N--Nutrition
E--Exercise
W--Water
S--Sunshine
T--Temperance(Moderation)
A--Air (fresh)
R--Rest(mental/physical)
T--Trusting in God

Also en-light of this COVID19 and the information that has been provided by us that animals are/were a major cause of the spread of this virus from China it led me to pull off my bookshelf a book by Agatha Thrash and her husband Calvin Thrash who were both Medical Doctors and were founders of Uchee Pines Institute in Seale, Alabama.
Here is what Dr Agatha Thrash has to say in her book: 'The Animal Connection'----------
It is suggested by Dr. James H. Steel, writing in Laboratory Medicine, in December, 1970
that "lower animals can serve as a source of virus strains that may cause sporadic human disease, or possible epidemics or pandemics (world-wide epidemics)"

"Foods used by humans come from either plants or animals. It is more likely that animal viruses are active in causing human disease than plant viruses, since plants are so biologically different from animals and humans. While plants have diseases, some of which are bacterial, some fungal, and some viral, the possibility appears quite remote that plant viruses are involved in human disease.
We do not yet know the cause of many human diseases such as arthritis, collagen disease, the wasting muscle diseases. many of the chronic and disabling intestinal diseases....many of the crippling neurological diseases,....It is not a far-fetched idea that many of these diseases of unknown cause are related to animal diseases transmitted to man either by direct contact with the animal or by ingestion of the flesh, milk, or eggs of the infected animal.
Cooking does not insure that bacteria are killed. Viruses are far more resistant to destruction by heat than are bacteria." (Thrash, 1983, p.2)

Dear Folks,

With this current pandemic along with the pandemonium deep consideration should be given to a lifestyle change that is without eating meat and meat products!!
Others that have taken that step are: Dr McDougall, founder of the McDougall Program; Dr. Esselstyn, Heart Specialist; Dr. Klaper, promotes Nutrition Interest Groups; Dr. Gregor, founder of NutritionFacts.org and countless other health professions and everyday people who have changed their lifestyles. Look them UP!

Have a healthy DAY!!!

THE CASE OF SHINGLES

What is Shingles?

An acute and painful inflammatory virus disease, affecting the skin overlying one or more sensory nerve trunks, also the nerve trunks themselves, and characterized by groups of small blisters on inflamed bases.

The skin eruption breaks out in crops,...The groups of blisters, each with a red base, dry and form crusts after a week of two....The blisters sometimes become pustules....The pain, neuralgic in character, may develop before the blisters appear;.....

Nerves on both sides of the body, or more than one nerve on the same side, may be affected, with corresponding widespread eruption. Occasionally nerves that supply the skin of the neck, the arms, the abdomen, or the thighs are attacked......Shingles is usually less severe in young persons than in those who are older.

What causes this development of the disease?

Overwork, general debility, damp and chilly weather, or the absorption of certain drugs....but a specific cause of the disease is a virus which affects the nerves and skin.

What should you do if you have Shingles?
  1. In severe cases, complete rest
  2. If constipated take a laxative
  3. Eat a simple easily digested diet
  4. Drink an abundance of fluids
  5. A heating pad or heat/light lamp to the painful area and will relieve some of the distress of Shingles
  6. Apply 1% phenol (used to disinfect skin/relieve itching) in Calamine lotion to help dry the blisters
  7. Daub a cotton ball of White Willow or Apple Cider Vinegar for pain
  8. For itching you can also use Aloe Vera, Lemon juice and Eucalyptus oil
  9. Positive for Shingles take 3 x day 10 mg of vitamin B1 (also known as Thiamine)
  10. If your pain has become very severe with no relief from Home remedies consult a physician

What about drugs from Conventional Medicine?
  1. VALTREX (Valacyclovir, generic name): Antiviral drug to slow growth and spread of the virus --- Side effects: discouragement, sad feeling, lack of appetite, loss of pleasure, tiredness, troubled sleep and concentration--may not apply to Valtrex
  2. ACYCLOVIR: No cure for symptoms of lesions, but used to treat infections --- Side effects: pain, swellings, redness, abdomen pain, decrease in frequency of urination and thirst, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, tiredness, and weakness.
Antibiotics (for influenza and virus)
      3. RELENZA (Zanamivir, generic name): Treatment for influenza A/B used as a preventive --- Side effects: convulsions, joint pain, skin rash, dizziness, fainting, increase sensitive to sunlight, itching/red swell eyes, short of breath and slow heartbeat
     4. TAMIFLU (Oseltamivir-phosphate, generic name): Antiviral medication-blocks actions of influenza virus A/B --- Side effects: abdominal cramps, arm/back/saw pain, increase thirst, weight loss, chest pain, facial swelling, fast heartbeat, hoarseness, pain and short of breath
     5. RAPIVAB (Peramivir): Prevents an enzyme in the body from releasing virus from infected cells. Used to treat influenza in adults who have flu symptoms --- Side effects: blistering skin, chills, cough, diarrhea, fever, itching, joint pain, red eyes, and sore throat

An important key to staying healthy ---- IMMUNITY

"Our Immune System is the body's legacy......
It is a multi-part, many-tiered, incredibly sophisticated system by which our bodies are able to naturally resist disease and infection---to fight off the invading bacteria, in our potentially hostile environment" page 3
"....Together, mind, diet, and physical movement will unify our forces of immunity." page 71

Hello Readers:

Anyone out there going to have Gallbladder Surgery known as Cholecystectomy?

Had you thought about alternative ways to rid your body of the gall stones? Probably not since most people wait until the pain is so severe they would prefer to have the surgery, right?

Check this link to find out when the first Cholecystectomy was performed and note that there was not one doctor that considered the cause of the build up of stones in the Gallbladder!

http://www.bioline.org.br/request?is04023

Think of these preventive hints if you choose not to have surgery:
1. Dietary habits eating highly spicy, fried and fat foods-not good
2. Not drinking enough water
3. Not eliminating your bowels daily
4. A willingness to take charge of your own health
5. How about a healthy diet of whole foods!

Here are some  things one can do if you discover you have gall stones:
1. Drink lemon water to alkalize your system
2. Eliminate your bowels
3. Drink Apple cider vinegar daily for at least 14 days or more considering the severity of your condition
4. Liver/Gallbladder Flush(7-day program): Day 1-6, Eat 4-6 apples or drink 4-5 glasses of organic unfiltered Apple juice all day and at night 1 hour before bed mix: 2 tbsp olive oil(cold pressed)+ lemon juice or grapefruit in 8 oz of distilled water and lie down on your right side for 6 days.
On the 7th day: Give yourself an enema and Repeat the first day instructions--1 hour before bed take 2/3 cup of olive oil, 1/3 cup of lemon juice in 8 oz of distilled water, sip slowly and lie down on your right side again.
In the morning you must take a chlorophyll enema because you must completely empty your colon or you will experience cramping, nausea or heartburn and headache; this is due to the flushing of toxins from the gallbladder into the intestines/blood.
If your Liver/gallbladder is strongly congested you may consider taking herbs to stimulate removal of the toxins.
